한국, 참 잘 했어요!

 

요즘 코로나 19 때문에 난리죠. 
저는 원래 재택근무라 생활은 별로 달라진 게 없지만
번역 요청이 많이 줄어들었어요. ㅠㅠ 
아무래도 한국인 입국 자체를 막아버리는 나라들이 많다보니
외국과 거래가 소용없어지고 그만큼 번역 수요도 줄어들었겠죠...
그래서 할일 없이 유튭 시청하는 시간이 많네요. ^^;

CBC News의 South Korea praised for handling of COVID-19 outbreak라는 영상을 보다가 
별 생각 없이 댓글을 읽어봤는데,
한국의 코로나 대처를 칭찬하는 글이 일색입니다. 
간혹 어쩌다가 근거 없는 비난을 하는 글도 보이지만 
곧바로 "질투하냐?" "일본인이냐?" 등의 몰매를 맞습니다. ㅎ
생뚱맞게 등장하는 부산행, 킹덤 드립도 재밌네요. 
혼자만 읽기 아까워서 가지고 왔습니다.

Yea a real model for the world over a few decades it went from a poor country destroyed by war, to a world class industrial country with rule of law and democratic elections, and robust institutions bravo 👏 Korea (맞아. 전쟁으로 빈곤국이 되었다가 수십 년 만에 세계적 수준의 산업국가로 발전하였고, 법의 통치, 민주선거, 견실한 기관을 가진 전 세계의 모델이지. 브라보 코리아) 

Such a role model this country is! Meanwhile in the USA people are fighting over toilet paper (귀감이 되는 롤모델 국가다! 반면 미국인들은 화장지 갖고 싸우고 있다.)

South Korea healthcare is so advanced, if I go in for a doctor for a cold they give iv drip along with a deep checkup. Also a prescription which I can get more than likely right as I walk out of the building. In America, the doctor checks me up for like 2 minutes and send me home with a prescription, then I have to drive to a pharmacy... They probably have the best healthcare in the world. Please learn something from them (한국 의료서비스는 매우 진보적이다. 감기로 병원에 갔는데 자세히 진찰하고 링거를 놔 주었다. 병원 밖 약국에서 구할 수 있도록 처방전도 주었다. 미국에서는 의사가 나를 2분 동안 진찰하고 처방전을 줘서 보내면 내가 약국까지 차를 몰고 가야한다. 그들은 아마 세계 최고의 의료서비스일 것이다. 그들에게서 좀 배우자.) 

Korea's medical system is the best system in the world. Their situation is that there are more people who have been treated than there are currently infected. We need to copy Korea's medical system. (한국의 의료 시스템은 세계 최고이다. 그들은 현재 감염된 사람보다 치료받은 사람들이 더 많다. 우리는 한국의 의료 시스템을 따라야 한다.)

no wonder, south korea is known for being advanced in medical field. (당연하지, 한국은 의료 분야 선진국으로 유명하니까.)

Korean government really cares their own people’s lives unlike the U.S. and Japan. (한국 정부는 미국이나 일본과는 다르게 국민의 생명을 정말로 아낀다.)

In general, Koreans can make creative action promptly without existing manual. And finally make it standard, well defined, proven and ADVANCED one. (일반적으로 한국인은 기존에 매뉴얼이 없어도 창의적인 조치를 취할 수 있고 결국엔 잘 정의되고 입증된, 발전된 표준을 만들어낸다.)

A nation's true face is shown during a time of crisis (한 국가의 진짜 모습은 위기 때 드러난다.)

Korea has the most developed medical quality in the world. You will get to know if visit there. (한국은 세계에서 가장 발전된 의료 품질을 가지고 있다. 방문해보면 알게 될 것이다.)

So... there's no panic buying or lockdown there? Wow... (그래서 사재기나 봉쇄가 없는 건가? 우와...)

Culture is a big factor. Italians kiss each other on the cheek as a way to say "Hi!", while Koreans bow (not so sure how common that is in the work place). Also while Koreans listen closely to what they're being told, Italians not so much... (문화가 큰 요소이다. 이탈리아인들은 인사할 때 서로 뺨에 키스를 한다. 한국인들은 머리를 숙인다.(직장에서는 어떤지 잘 모르겠다.) 또 한국인들은 상대방이 말하는 것을 열심히 듣지만 이탈리아인들은 그다지...) 

South koreans controlled it successfully without any lockdown & panic buying (한국인들은 봉쇄와 사재기 없이 성공적으로 통제했다.)

Look at that.... and in america....... you got a bunch of fools fighting over toilet paper....... (미국을 봐라. 화장지를 가지고 싸우는 바보들이 많이 있다.)

The S.Korean government’s transparency must be praised (한국 정부의 투명성에 대해서는 칭찬받아야 한다)

Fast diagnosis, isolation and treatment.  S Korea really did a good job. (빠른 진단, 격리, 치료. 한국 정말 잘 했다.)

I've been living in SK for a month now, and it is impressive how the government and its people are taking care of the situation. It is a very organized society and most importantly, it is a society that values respect (that's why I haven't seen people fighting for toilet paper). They're an example to follow for sure! (나는 지금 한국에 한 달 동안 지내고 있는데, 정부와 국민들의 대처가 인상적이다. 매우 조직적이며, 가장 중요한 건 존중을 소중히 여기는 사회이다. (그래서 사람들이 화장지 가지고 싸우지 않는다.) 그들은 반드시 따라야 할 모범이다!

Only country in the world IQ above 105... (세계에서 평균 IQ가 105 이상인 유일한 국가...)

Most civilized country in the world at the moment (지금 이 시대 세계에서 가장 개화된 나라)

South Korean  people are an inspiration (한국 사람들은 영감을 준다.)

That's why South Korea has good high tech companies as like Samsung, LG , SK helping tracking patients. They citizenship very impressive!  Totally difference from China. (그래서 삼성, LG, SK와 같이 환자 추적을 돕는 우수한 첨단 기술 회사를 한국이 보유하고 있는 것이다. 그들의 시민의식은 매우 인상적이다! 확실히 중국과 다르다.)

Go NETFLIX and watch Kingdom. You can find how Korean have been trained and experienced how to combat Zombies since Chosen kingdom, back in 1600s. (넷플릭스에서 킹덤을 봐라. 한국인들은 1600년대 조선시대부터 좀비와 싸우는 방법을 훈련받고 경험을 쌓아왔다.)

Now that’s a first world country (이제는 세계 제1위 국가이다.)

In South Korea people are disciplined and listen to their health officials and work collectively to stop the spread. (한국에서는 사람들이 보건 공무원들 말을 들으며 훈련을 받고 확산을 방지하기 위해 함께 노력한다.) 

I'm sooooo proud of South Korea and I'm not even Korean!!! (나는 한국이 저어어엉말 자랑스럽다. 한국인이 아닌데도!!!)

China: Communism first    Japan: Olympic first    South Korea: Safety first (중국: 공산체제 우선   일본: 올림픽 우선   한국: 안전이 우선)

Surprise, surprise. Who would have thought that widespread testing and subsequent rational treatment and preventative measures would be successful... (놀랍다, 놀라워. 광범위한 테스트와 적절한 후속치료 및 예방조치가 성공할 수 있을 것이라고 누가 생각했겠는가...)

You know what? Korean Gov send text message to whole people in the nation everytime when they find new confirmed case(I think this is so sick. Very helpful.) The text informs you the area where the person was confirmed and the places confirmed person visited, so that other people can avoid the places before government finish the disinfection on those places. This really helps prevent spreading of the virus. We should do this too in America to let people know dangerous places. (이거 아십니까? 한국 정부는 새롭게 확진 사례를 발견할 때마다 전국의 모든 국민들에게 문자를 보낸다. (굉장히 멋진 것 같다. 매우 유용함) 이 문자는 확진자 발생 지역과 방문 장소를 알려줘서 정부가 그 곳을 방역하기 전에 사람들이 가지 않도록 한다. 이건 바이러스 확산을 막는데 매우 도움이 된다. 미국에서도 위험한 장소를 사람들이 알 수 있도록 해야 한다.)

Great job South  Korea! The rest of the world needs to follow! (잘 했다, 한국! 모든 세계가 따라야 한다!)

I admire South Korea's calm and agile attitude on dealing with  Covid19. (나는 코로나 19를 대처하는 한국의 침착하고 민첩한 태도에 감탄한다.)

In the U.S. everybody heads straight to Walmart to fight over toilet paper and soup so that the virus can spread as fast as possible. (미국에서는 화장지와 수프를 쟁취하기 위해 모두가 월마트로 직행하여 바이러스가 최대한 빨리 퍼질 수 있도록 한다.)

I would trust the Korean CDC more than I trust the one in the USA. (나는 미국 CDC보다 한국 질본을 더 믿는다.)

This is why there is no panic buying in Korea now although their situation is way worse than here (Australia). Australians are now queuing a couple metres outside supermarkets and pharmacies to buy things whatever they can put their hands on. We do not have any clear information about who have been confirmed with this virus. That causes anxiety and panic mood in the community. South Korean government is doing absolutely amazing job atm. (이것이 그들의 현재 상황이 이곳(호주)보다 나쁘지만 한국에서는 사재기가 없는 이유이다. 호주인들은 무엇이든 손에 닿는 것은 구입하기 위해 슈퍼마켓과 약국 밖에서 지금 대기하고 있다. 우리는 이 바이러스 확진자들에 대한 어떤 명확한 정보도 없다. 그것이 지역 사회에서 불안과 공황 분위기를 유발한다. 한국 정부는 정말 놀라운 일을 하고 있다.

While Korean getting all kind of discrimination in USA, New york, for being asian... (반면 미국, 뉴욕에 있는 한국인들은 아시아인이라는 이유로 온갖 종류의 차별을 받고 있음...)

No panic in S Korea. No problem to buy toilet paper. (한국에는 공황이 없다. 화장지를 사는 데 아무런 문제가 없다.)

Meanwhile in America my friend sent me a snap chat of how she couldn’t find any sanitary pads 😩 (한편 미국에서는 내 친구가 위생 패드를 구하지 못했다고 메시지를 보냈다.)

It is within South Korean culture to be community oriented and helpful. They are also big on pressuring their government to be responsible and transparent. South Korea is the best country to be in right now during this crises! Those making rude comments are due to their own inferiority complex and jealousy... (그건 공동체 지향적이고 기꺼이 돕는 한국 문화에 있다. 그들은 또한 정부가 책임감 있고 투명하게 일하도록 압력을 가한다. 지금 이 시국에 한국은 최고의 국가다! 무례한 의견을 제시하는 사람들은 자신의 열등감과 질투 때문이다...)

smart and organized people the world needs to follow this model 👍 (세계가 따라야 하는 똑똑하고 조직적인 모범 국민들)

It takes only AN HOUR to register, take an xray, ct scan and meet a doctor in SK. Imagine you wanna take an xray in US or Canada. You need to bring a sandwich and a charger at least. Everything is fast in SK. Paper works, internet, any process you name it. (한국에서 등록하고, 엑스레이 찍고, ct 스캔하고, 의사와 상담하는 데 딱 한 시간이 걸린다. 미국이나 캐나다에서 엑스레이를 찍는 경우를 상상해보라. 적어도 샌드위치와 충전기를 가져와야 한다. 한국은 모든 것이 빠르다. 문서 작업, 인터넷 등 당신이 이름을 댈 모든 프로세스가.)

looks like South Korea is a well advanced country than any other...... (한국은 다른 어느 나라보다 선진국인 것 같다......)

I went to Seoul in December and the people there have good hygiene, when you order food in most restaurant they will even give you disposable wipes to clean your hands and this was before the virus. (나는 12월에 서울에 갔는데 그 곳 사람들은 청결했다. 대부분의 식당에서 음식을 주문하면 손을 닦으라고 일회용 물티슈를 줄 것이다. 바이러스 이전에도 그랬다.)

You can tell how developed a country is by their medical capacity and the behavior of its citizens during a worst case disaster. I really admire South Korea. Much respect from america.👍🏻 (최악의 재난 상황에서 그들의 의료 능력과 국민의 행동으로 국가가 얼마나 발전했는지 알 수 있다. 나는 한국을 정말 존경한다. 많은 미국인들의 존경을 받으라) 

Korea provided hope. America promoted fear.  (한국은 희망을 주었다. 미국은 두려움을 높였다.)

They deserve praise. Indeed the outbreak should not happen at all considering the authority acted quickly in the early stage, it's just a tragedy that one or two irresponsible people can spread virus all over the country. (그들은 칭찬받을 자격이 있다. 사실, 초기 단계에서 신속하게 조치한 당국을 고려할 때, 그 발발 자체가 전혀 일어나지 않았어야 한다. 한 두 명의 무책임한 사람들이 전국에 바이러스를 퍼뜨릴 수 있다는 게 비극일 뿐이다.)

Advancement and innovation do not come free. Go South Korea! (진보와 혁신은 공짜로 오지 않는다. 한국으로 가자!)

Good job Korea! We should learn Korea's way instead of learn from Germany and the UK  which just gave up to control. (잘 했다, 한국! 우리는 한국에게서 길을 배워야 한다. 그냥 통제를 포기해버린 독일과 영국이 아니라.)

One big difference between US and South Korea....... is a basic mentality of CARING.  For examples:  
US:  Fight each other for toilet papers.  Buy all hand sanitizers  OUT til store shelves got empty, then sell it at Amazon with much higher prices for making personal profits.  
Korea:  Voluntarily prepare, deliver FREE nutritious foods for neighbors who are in quarantine.  Donate masks for poor neighbors.  No panic buying.  Full of items on store shelves as before.  
US prescient:  My personal benefits/advantage first.  “I don’t Take any responsibility”. 
SK President:  Citizen’s safety is priority..... ACT NOW.  100% FREE for testing, treatment.
(미국과 한국의 큰 차이점 중 하나는 ... 배려에 대한 기본사고방식이다. 예를 들자면,
미국: 화장지를 위해 서로 싸우라. 상점 선반이 텅 빌 때까지 모든 손 소독제를 구입해서 자신의 이익을 위해 훨씬 더 높은 가격으로 아마존에서 판매하라.
한국: 격리된 이웃들에게 자발적으로 영양가 있는 음식을 준비하고 제공하라. 가난한 이웃을 위해 마스크를 기부하라. 사재기 안 됨. 예전처럼 상점 선반에 물건이 가득함.

They are so advanced in every way, not just with phones or laundry machines. 👍 (그들은 모든 면에서 매우 진보되어 있다. 전화나 세탁기만이 아니다.)

South Korea covid19 drastically slowing down.  More recovers than infected virus.  They even have a drive through testing for free.  How convenient is that?   They tested over 250,000 so far.  Other countries should follow the South Korea lead. (한국의 코로나 19는 급격히 둔화되고 있다. 감염자보다 회복자가 더 많다. 그들은 심지어 드라이브 스루 테스트도 무료다. 얼마나 편리한가? 그들은 지금까지 250,000 이상을 테스트했다. 다른 국가들은 한국의 지도를 따라야 한다.)

South Korea was prepared since the zombie plague of Busan. This is nothing. (한국은 부산의 좀비 전염병 이후부터 준비해왔다. 이건 아무것도 아니다.)

SKorea is a country that has more patent(invention)  than the entire EU. And it is a country that exports more high-tech products than the U.S. Everything is fast because it's a country with such high-tech. (한국은 EU 전체보다 특허(발명)가 많은 나라이며, 미국보다 첨단 기술 제품을 더 많이 수출하는 나라다. 첨단 기술을 갖춘 나라이기 때문에 모든 것이 빠르다.)

The only way to overcome this corona19 is to follow the Korean way (코로나19를 극복하는 유일한 방법은 한국의 길을 따르는 것이다.)

That is all possible in Korea because of the tremendous amount of efforts and sacrifices made by people in healthcare and frontline gov't workers. They have been working literally non-stop since the outbreak. With countless hours of overtime work, many of them have not been able to sleep on their comfortable beds at home. Here in Canada, your union rep will tell you that you are not supposed to work over 37.5 hours per week (의료진과 일선 공무원들이 엄청난 노력과 희생을 치렀기 때문에 한국에서 가능한 것이다. 그들은 발발 이후 문자 그대로 논스톱으로 일해 왔다. 셀 수도 없는 시간외근무로 그들 중 많은 사람들이 집에서 편안한 침대에서 잠을 잘 수 없었다. 캐나다에서는 노조대변인이 일주일에 37.5시간 이상 일하지 않아야 한다고 알려 줄 것이다.)

Way to go South Korea !!! Prayers for all (멋지다, 한국!!! 모두를 위해 기도한다)

South Korea is a relatively new ‘democracy’ when compared to the USA, but look how much more organized, transparent and communicative they are versus USA. What an embarrassment for (us) in the USA. Shows the lack of community in the USA. Individuality is everything. Me me me me... screw my neighbor. That’s the line if thinking. (한국은 미국에 비해 비교적 신생 '민주국가'이지만, 미국보다 얼마나 조직적이고 투명하며 소통적인지 살펴보라. 미국(우리)은 얼마나 곤혹스러운가? 미국 지역 사회의 부족을 보여준다. 개인성이 전부다. 나, 나, 나, 나... 이웃은 망해라. 생각해보면 그게 핵심이다.)

compared to Canada's system... or even US' pathetic third world healthcare system.... South Korea is on a whole other level.... (캐나다의 시스템이나 미국의 한심한 제3세계 의료 시스템과 비교할 때... 한국은 완전히 차원이 다르다.)

South Korea fought back the zombie plague of 2015, this is nothing. (한국은 2015년 좀비 전염병도 막았다. 이건 아무것도 아니다.)

코로나 19로 많은 사람들이 아프고 격리되고 초상집이 되기도 하였네요.
쉽사리 줄어들지 않는 확진자 숫자에 우울하기도 하지만
한국을 칭찬하고 한국 시스템을 부러워하는 외국을 생각하며 위로받읍시다. ㅎ

의료진도 아니고, 면역력도 약한 나는 이 시국에 할 수 있는 일이 아무것도 없지만
스스로 자가격리하여 괜한 민폐 끼치지 않고
내가 처한 상황에서 꿋꿋이 잘 지내며 그들을 위해 기도하는 것도 
내가 보탤 수 있는 작은 힘이라고 생각합니다. 

모두 빨리 회복되기를 기도합니다.
